Tottenham Hotspur winger Brennan Johnson has now been discussing his start to life in North London under Ange Postecoglou.
Johnson was speaking in an interview with football.london and discussed the motivations behind his move and the difference he’s noticed at Spurs.
And during that chat about life at Tottenham so far Johnson couldn’t help but praise a £22m teammate.
The Welsh winger said he felt blessed to be playing alongside such world-class talent, something that has given him a confidence boost.
And he simply couldn’t heap enough praise on Son Heung-Min.
Johnson said: “I’m loving it – having players that achieved so much is so eye-opening and a confidence boost.
“For me it’s only a benefit, Sonny being the main one as he is such a good player and has done so much.

“I play for the side but there are lots of bits to pick up on such as finishing and movement.
“There are similarities and differences to learn, for now I’m just learning as much as I can.”
And as a result of some injuries, Johnson will now enjoy a pretty uncontested run of starts at Tottenham under Postecoglou.

Although three defeats from three is bound to bring some negativity, it still seems like the mood is pretty optimistic around Spurs.
A trip to Manchester City could prove a tough one, but Spurs will stick to their attacking mantra, even if one pundit thinks they need to make a big change.
Postecoglou has carefully developed an exciting brand of football at Spurs, one he has maintained throughout his career.
And he’s simply not going to ditch that at the first hurdle, even if he may be lacking the personnel to fulfil his tactical brief.
However, it’s clear that when Postecoglou has had time to make his signings and build his squad, they will be a team to fear.
Brennan Johnson is an excellent example, a player who has started life so well at Tottenham, full of determination and belief.
And although he’s only had a handful of starts, he already looks an improved player than often watched at Nottingham Forest.
