Tottenham defender Pedro Porro has said that the players are firmly believing they can pull of what might seem like the impossible this season.
Porro has been a key player under Ange Postecoglou and looks every bit the player Spurs thought they were getting when they paid nigh on £40m for him.
The Spaniard has shown both attacking and defensive prowess and despite three defeats in a row for Spurs, it’s been a positive season overall.
And speaking to The Telegraph, Porro has revealed that the Tottenham players actually think they can win the league this season.

Speaking about life under Postecoglou and the season ahead, Porro admitted the feeling is positive inside the dressing room.
“There is still a long season ahead, but in the dressing room nobody is going to take away the illusion of trying to win the league. The work we have done so far shows us the path we have to follow,” Porro said.
Spurs can dream but not this season
Naturally, the competition is about winning it so Spurs’ players are bound to have that target in mind.

However, realistically, there is no chance Tottenham win the title this season. Yes, they can compete and finish in the top four but it’s a big old ask to challenge for the title.
Before the injuries, maybe there’d have been a chance.
But right now, it’s about showing improvement and continuing to build under Ange. Anything else on top is just a big bonus really.
Porro’s comments are admirable. But the league is out of reach and it would be a minor miracle if Spurs were anywhere near winning the lot.
