What Bayern Munich’s players now privately think about Harry Kane after signing him from Tottenham

Having left Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern Munich this summer, Harry Kane is now making a huge impression in Germany.

30-year-old Kane now has 21 goals in 16 Bayern Munich appearances across all competitions, with seven assists as well.

And given his incredible start, The Athletic have now been detailing how Kane has been settling at Bayern since making the huge switch from Tottenham.

Moreover, the report also detailed how Kane’s new teammates also feel about the superstar’s arrival at the club.

A source close to the dressing room said that Kane’s teammates are in awe of the England international.

According to the report, the Bayern players feel that the striker combines unshakeable self-confidence with genuine humility.

And although they are also doing brilliantly at the start of this season, some Tottenham fans may still be wondering, ‘what if’.

The prospect of Kane playing under Ange Postecoglou is likely now to always remain as a hypothetical one.

But given Spurs were on course to head into the international break at the top of the league, albeit for some incredibly unfortunate injuries, Kane may have been able to realise his desire for trophies in North London afterall.

Of course, Kane must be keeping a very close eye on all that is unfolding back at Spurs this season.

And ahead of joining up with the England squad, he’ll be similarly gutted to see James Maddison missing out.

The £40m signing has been so talismanic for Tottenham thus far, a player who was extremely excited to play behind Kane.

However, Maddison is now forming an excellent partnership with Son Heung-Min – one fans will look forward to resuming in the new year.

And perhaps in the interim, it may be time for Postecoglou to turn to Jamie Donley as he tries to replace Maddison.

The 18-year-old has been outstanding for the Premier League 2 side this season, and does now have the playmaking ability to substitute for Maddison.

Nonetheless, Tottenham fans will surely be happy to see Kane settling so well at Bayern, even if may wish he was still around for the Ange era.
