I agree with Jamie Carragher. Aaron Ramsdale is now the number two goalkeeper at Arsenal. David Raya is the clear number one.
Ramsdale played against Brentford only because Raya was ineligible. I am sure that the Spain international goalkeeper will be back in the Gunners’ starting lineup for their next game.
While it must be disappointing for Ramsdale to be a back-up goalkeeper, he is training well and has impressed the Arsenal coaching staff.
Ramsdale needs to work hard in training and be ready to play whenever Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants him to.
