Pep Guardiola describes Liverpool in one word after Manchester City match

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has given his verdict on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Guardiola has said that he enjoys watching Liverpool and has summed them up in one word.

So, what has Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said about Liverpool? Let’s take a look.

What’s the story?

Well, Manchester City failed to win against Liverpool at home in the Premier League on Saturday.

Norway international striker Erling Haaland put City in the lead at the Etihad Stadium in the first half.

England international right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold restored parity for Liverpool in the second half.

After the match, City manager Pep Guardiola raved about Liverpool and called them “incredible”.

Guardiola told City’s official website: “We are hungry and upset in the locker room, but it was an incredibly great game.

“Statistics or who deserved it more, it doesn’t count. I am going to drink my wine with one point.

“I am incredibly pleased about the performance we played because Liverpool are an incredible team.”

Guardiola added: “I watch Liverpool sometimes because I enjoy watching them.

“We were incredibly good in all departments. We were not going to win or lose the Premier League today, we just had to be ourselves.”

Liverpool can beat Manchester City to Premier League title

In my opinion, Liverpool do have what it takes to beat Manchester City to the Premier League title this season.

Arsenal are also doing well and won against Brentford on Saturday evening, and there is a potential threat from Tottenham Hotspur as well.

It is going to be tough for Liverpool to win the league title, but Jurgen Klopp’s could be able to do it.

After all, Liverpool have won the Premier League title under Klopp. The Reds also have clinched the UEFA Champions League under the German.

Mohamed Salah is at the top of his game now and is still scoring goals for fun.

Dominik Szoboszlai has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League this season and has been absolutely brilliant for Liverpool.

That Liverpool did not lose to City at the Etihad Stadium shows their mettle.
