Tottenham are reportedly putting in the work to sign England youth international Tommy Setford, with Chelsea also interested in the teenager.
The Ajax youngster, alongside his older brother Charlie, is regarded as one of the next big talents in the goalkeeping position, and Tottenham are now keen on signing the 17-year-old shot-stopper.
According to TeamTalk, the north London side are looking to bring in the Haarlem-born prospect, with Chelsea and Newcastle United also interested in Setford.
England’s starting goalkeeper in the recent U-17 FIFA World Cup, the Setford brothers are starting to gain quite some publicity in the United Kingdom due to their unique story.
And now, Tottenham are exploring signing the youngest of the brothers, with Spurs seemingly keen on shoreing up their goalkeeping options for the next few years.
Indeed, signing a future England no. 1 would be a positive move for many Tottenham fans, and Setford could be an exciting transfer if a deal can be reached with Ajax.
