Liverpool defender Andy Robertson has named one nice attribute about his full-back partner Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The two defenders have been amongst the best in the Premier League for years now. They have played a huge part in Liverpool‘s success, and they share a great relationship with each other off the pitch as well.

Andy Robertson says Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold is a ‘fantastic player’

Trent Alexander-Arnold joined Liverpool when he was just six years old back in 2004.

The Englishman came through the ranks at the club and is now their vice-captain. He is one of the best right-backs in the world and has already won everything at club level.

In a short segment with the Premier League’s website this week, a number of Liverpool players named the nicest thing about one of their teammates.

We’ve already told you what Virgil van Dijk said about Cody Gakpo.

Now, here’s what Andy Robertson said when the Premier League asked him to name one nice attribute about Alexander-Arnold.

The Scot said: “One nice attribute about Trent is he’s a fantastic player and an even better person!”

Trent Alexander-Arnold could be the answer to Liverpool’s midfield problems

Liverpool invested a lot of money on their midfield in the summer.

They signed Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch, and all of them have had a good start to life at Anfield. However, Liverpool still haven’t fully replaced Fabinho in that number six role.

We’re sure the Reds will address that issue in one of the next two transfer windows, but until then, we think Trent Alexander-Arnold can do a good job in that role. The 25-year-old played as a midfielder for England yesterday, and his passing from deep was exceptional.

Until Liverpool find a proper solution in the number six role, we feel Alexander-Arnold would be an excellent option in that position. If Jurgen Klopp does deploy him there, we’re sure he’ll provide a lot more than just the three assists that he has this season.
