Club now want to terminate Tottenham’s player’s loan deal due to ‘unprofessional’ behaviour

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele’s loan spell at Galatasaray seems to have gone from bad to worse.

The Frenchman joined the Turkish giants on a season-long loan deal in the summer. There was a lot of hype when he made the move, but if FotoSpor are to be believed, Galatasaray are already considering terminating his contract and sending him back to Tottenham.

Galatasaray want to terminate Tottenham star Tanguy Ndombele’s loan deal

If someone asked you to name a hugely talented player who is just wasting his abilities, Tottenham loanee Tanguy Ndombele would be a very good answer.

The Frenchman was one of the most exciting prospects in Europe when he burst onto the scene at Lyon. His potential convinced Tottenham to break the bank to sign him in 2019, but his career has gone downhill since.

After two fairly disappointing loan spells at Lyon and then Napoli, even though he won the Serie A title in Italy, Ndombele was sent to Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal.

His manager there, Okan Buruk, ‘couldn’t believe his eyes‘ when he saw Ndombele in training in his first few days at the club, but after initial flattery, it has been all disappointment.

The report claims that due to Ndombele’s ‘unwilling demeanour’ and ‘unprofessional nature’, Galatasaray manager Buruk has shown him the door already.

They further claim that Ndombele’s loan deal will be terminated in the January transfer window, which means he will be back at Tottenham at the turn of the year.

Spurs need to get rid of Ndombele

On his day, Tanguy Ndombele is a terrific player, but it’s time for the Frenchman and Tottenham to understand that things will not work out – just like Galatasaray have realised now.

The midfielder will still have 18 months left on his contract in January, and even though Daniel Levy hates letting players leave for free, we just can’t see a club paying a transfer fee to sign him.

Ndombele is on a £200,000-a-week contract in Tottenham’s books (Spotrac). The best move for Spurs would be to get him and his agent in a room and reach an agreement to terminate his contract.

Both parties need a fresh start, and from where we’re sitting, tearing up his deal is the only we they can achieve it in January.
