Tottenham lost their second game in a week at Wolves yesterday as the injury to James Maddison was highlighted at Molineux.
Despite being 1-0 up for most of the game, Tottenham struggled to create big chances really and it was abundantly clear that Maddison being out was a problem.
Ange Postecoglou confirmed before the game that Maddison was going to be out until the New Year at least. It’s a big blow for Spurs, and they must now plod along and hope someone else can pick up the baton.
Maddison himself has taken to Instagram as well to confirm he’ll be missing until 2024. The England midfielder sharing a post with Spurs fans, promising them he’ll be back better than ever.

As we know, Bellingham has become a hugely popular figure in the England squad and Maddison is just one of the players he seems to have formed a good bond with.
Bellingham himself has picked up an injury over in Madrid right now. However, he found time to respond to Maddison’s post here and clearly, it’s something that’s upset the midfielder.

Bellingham wasn’t the only England man to wish Maddison well. As you can see above, Harry Maguire also sent some love to the Spurs ace, while Jordan Henderson was in there as well.
Clearly, Maddison will not only be missed by Tottenham but by his Three Lions mates as well, who have two games coming up in the next fortnight.
Hopefully, the injury heals fully and Maddison can get back fit and firing and ready for the Euros next summer.
