Jude Bellingham reacts with wordless message on Instagram after James Maddison scores again for Tottenham

Jude Bellingham must now be becoming very familiar with praising James Maddison at Tottenham Hotspur this season.

The England internationals are arguably two of the most in-form midfielders in the world right now.

And Bellingham once again took to Instagram to praise Maddison on an impressive showing, and his first goal at home for Tottenham last night.

Maddison shared a post today with the caption: “First goal as a Lilywhite at a place I like to call my new home.”

And Bellingham replied with no words, just two emojis celebrating an on-target performance.

Of course, the duo should have the chance to link up again very soon with the November international break already on the horizon.

Bellingham is now absolutely crucial in this Gareth Southgate side given his meteoric rise at Real Madrid.

Moreover, Maddison himself is pushing for a spot in the England XI given his Tottenham form, but has unfortunately found himself competing with Bellingham.

Although Maddison can play out wide, it will be a spot at the number 10 that he’s craving.

Of course, Maddison is likely to settle for any role in the England team as long as he’s starting.

But it is interesting that Ange Postecoglou has chosen to exclusively play Maddison as a 10 at Tottenham.

Ange isn’t blessed with too many options in the position, which may explain his consistent choice.

But Maddison was often deployed on the wing at Leicester City – a role that did suit him well on occasion.

However, there’s no doubt that Maddison belongs at the heart of this new Postecoglou project.

And although Maddison is somewhat competing with Bellingham at England, he’s now undisputed in his role at Tottenham.

Another player with no doubts over his worth at Spurs is Son Heung-Min.

Although, the Tottenham captain was disappointed with his own reaction to being substituted by his manager last night.
