Graeme Bailey has told Team Talk that Jurgen Klopp could do a complete U-turn and keep Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain now, after he looked set to leave.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was handed a massive blow at the beginning of the season as he picked up yet another hamstring injury.
The 29-year-old was sidelined until the end of October, which forced Klopp into leaving him out of Liverpool’s Champions League squad.
The Athletic reported back in October that the £35 million man is likely to leave Anfield, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.
But the midfielder has started in each of the Reds’ last three Premier League matches and it seems that Klopp may have had a change of heart over his future.
Klopp could keep Oxlade-Chamberlain
90 Min’s Bailey spoke to Team Talk about Oxlade-Chamberlain’s future at Anfield and revealed that Klopp may be open to keeping him at the club, alongside Naby Keita.
The journalist said: “When it comes to Liverpool’s midfield, the revolution could very well come within. And those players who currently look like departing are Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita. Both fall out of contract on July 1.

“As it stands, both are due to leave, but I believe that Klopp would be open to them staying now both are involved again.
“All in all, there are many decisions for Klopp to make, but so many big decisions for Liverpool!”
Oxlade-Chamberlain has endured a frustrating couple of years at Anfield due to persistent injuries hampering his progress.
The Englishman has proven to be a useful squad player for Klopp over the years but it seemed like his time in Merseyside was coming to an end.
It would be surprising to see Klopp keep hold of both Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keita, especially as Liverpool need to re-shape their midfield.
Both players have struggled to make themselves available consistently enough and Liverpool really need to refresh their midfield ranks.
