£26m Tottenham player has now agreed terms with two clubs, he could leave in January

Tottenham Hotspur star Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has agreed terms with both Juventus and Atletico Madrid over a move in January.

The Dane has fallen out of favour at Spurs under Ange Postecoglou. He is no longer the first choice, and a move away makes sense for him. La Stampa now share some information about his future.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg agrees terms with Juventus and Atletico Madrid

Tottenham star Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been linked with a move away from Spurs for a while now, with both Juventus and Atletico Madrid keen to sign him

The Denmark international was always one of the first names on the team sheet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but that changed following Postecoglou’s arrival in the summer.

Hojbjerg had a chance to leave the club in the last transfer window, and a move to Atletico Madrid looked close. However, that deal collapsed in the final hours of deadline day.

Now, La Stampa claim that Hojbjerg’s agent has an agreement with Atletico Madrid and Juventus for the transfer of his client in January as long as they can strike a deal with Tottenham.

The problem for the clubs, especially Juventus, is that Spurs are demanding over £26 million to let their Danish midfielder leave the club.

That figure could be too high for the Old Lady.

Hojbjerg needs to leave

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has played just over 280 minutes of football in the Premier League this season.

The 28-year-old has been behind both Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma in the pecking order, and things will only get worse for the Dane as Rodrigo Bentancur is now back in contention.

A move away in the January transfer window will be the best thing for Hojbjerg, who is at the stage of his career where he needs to be playing regularly.

That is unlikely to happen at Tottenham unless things change drastically in the coming weeks.
