Tottenham drew 3-3 with Manchester City in a pulsating encounter this afternoon and Glenn Hoddle was full of praise for goal scorer, Heung-Min Son.
It was Son’s goal which got everything underway at The Etihad as he beat a hapless Ederson with a shot that set Spurs well on their way.
However, City clawed it back and looked to have won it through Jack Grealish.
But a late goal from Dejan Kulusevski levelled things and sent Tottenham home the happier side.
And watching the game for Premier League Productions, former Spurs manager Glenn Hoddle felt Heung-Min Son did brilliantly to get his goal in the first place.
“Bryan Gil did very well to shield the ball and get out to start the counter, the ball goes over the top for Son and Doku finds himself in the left-back position where he doesn’t want to be. Son beats him fairly easily but he still has a lot to do, and it’s a really impressive goal and a perfect start to the game,” Hoddle said.
Son is now just one shy of double figures in the Premier League.

Son stars once again for Tottenham to banish Kane memories
Losing Harry Kane in the summer was always going to be a big issue for Tottenham but £22m man Heung-Min Son hasn’t half stepped up to the plate to deliver in his absence.
One again, he showed how good he can be as a number nine today and his goal was an example of how big a threat he can be in behind.
Tottenham are lucky they have Son, really. His performances are always good and he always seems to get himself into golden positions to score goals and contribute.
As Hoddle says, his goal here at City was superb and if it wasn’t for Erling Haaland, another PL golden boot might be his.
