£29m Chelsea player considering leaving after less than a year at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea could move to offload a number of players in January and includes a raft of newer signings, including Noni Madueke.

The Blues have spent heavily in the last few windows but so far, have seen nothing for that spend with results remaining inconsistent. The club hired Mauricio Pochettino in the summer and despite some positive performances, the same problems remain.

Chelsea are now considering some big signings like Victor Osimhen. But that signing will likely come at the expense of a few other players in the squad.

And according to The Telegraph, January signing Noni Madueke is one player who could consider his future in January.

Noni Madueke could leave Chelsea already

According to The Telegraph, Madueke is among a group of players who Chelsea consider as potentially being available.

Along with Armando Broja, it’s claimed the winger would consider his immediate future at the club and that a move elsewhere in January, albeit it probably temporary, can’t be ruled out.

Madueke only signed for Chelsea in January of this year when he completed a move to Stamford Bridge worth around £29m.

Madueke has had a torrid time in the main as a Chelsea player. He has just two goals to his name for the Blues and has dropped down the pecking order in recent months.

A theme that will continue

Toddy Boehly’s masterplan of signing young players to long-term contracts already looks to be a flawed one.

For all the money spent on these sorts of players like Madueke, Chelsea are just seeing absolutely nothing and it’s no surprise some are already considering being moved on.

Madueke is clearly a player with talent in the locker but like so many at Chelsea right now, it’s just not clicking and inconsistencies are killing both him and the team.

A loan move in January might well be what Madueke needs in all honesty. A fresh start, with the chance to play regularly could actually benefit everyone.
