‘Absolutely incredible’…BBC pundit lauds 25-year-old Liverpool player v Brentford

Liverpool absolutely cruised their way to yet another Premier League win today with another masterclass at Anfield.

The Reds have made quite the start to this season and Jurgen Klopp will be confident his team can mount a sustained challenge now. With a number of players out injured, Liverpool never looked threatened by Brentford and simply oozed class at times.

Mo Salah was the man to get the goals again for the Reds while Darwin Nunez was twice frustrated by VAR as he performed well again.

Further back, Trent Alexander-Arnold was in fine form once again and he delivered some of his textbook long-range passes to catch the eye.

And watching on for the BBC, former Everton man and now pundit, Leon Osman, has his eye caught by a fine pass from Trent late in the first half.

“Absolutely incredible from Trent Alexander-Arnold to see the pass and then to execute the pass,” Osman said.

From the pass, Mo Salah failed to convert but it was another wow moment from Alexander-Arnold, who is making a habit of producing this sort of pass.

Trent continues to shine for Liverpool

In games like the one today, we really get to see the best of Trent and he looked the business against Brentford after initially starting the game slowly.

This pass here was just one example of his quality and he continues to shine in that more advanced role from the right-hand side.

Liverpool continue to look really good and the longer they can keep in touch at the top, the more the belief will grow that they can indeed push City all the way.

Certainly, on today’s evidence again, they won’t be far away. And if they aren’t far from winning the lot, then Alexander-Arnold will have played a huge role you imagine.
