Tottenham lost out at Wolves today to make it two defeats in a week and end a miserable week for the club.
Spurs and Ange Postecoglou were rocked against Chelsea as big injuries to the likes of James Maddison and Micky van de Ven, coupled with red cards for Destiny Udogie and Cristian Romero, compounded things on top of a 4-1 loss.
A late defeat today will have done nothing to improve the mood really, even though Spurs’ stat to the season has been excellent in the main.
Of course, key to those excellent performances has been Heung-Min Son. The South Korean has been outstanding and speaking about ‘Sonny’ before the game, former Spurs man Tim Sherwood was full of praise for the forward.
Tim Sherwood lauds Heung-Min Son for what he’s brought to Tottenham
Speaking on Premier League Productions about Son, Sherwood lauded the impact he’s had at Spurs.
“Sonny’s been a revelation ever since he came to Tottenham, his attitude and desire and performances show how good he is. He’s a phenomenal player now,” Sherwood said.
Son signed for Spurs for around £22m back in 2015 and has been nothing short of sensational since making that move.

He was given the captain’s armband in the summer and has taken things by storm, stepping up to the plate to replace Harry Kane in the centre-forward role.
Of course, Son was quiet today against Wolves in the end as he failed to live up to the billing given to him by Sherwood prior to the game.
However, there is no doubting Son’s ability and quality. Over the years, he has scored countless goals in big games for Spurs and he has continued that this season.
In terms of signings over the last decade, Tottenham haven’t made many better than Heung-Min Son.
