‘Main question for me’… David Seaman now predicts the result of Arsenal vs Wolves clash

David Seaman has backed Arsenal to pick up a comfortable win over Wolves at the Emirates Stadium today.

Speaking on the latest episode of his podcast, the Arsenal legend feels his former side will simply have ‘too much’ for Gary O’Neil’s men.

Mikel Arteta’s side picked up a convincing victory during the week as they booked their place in the Champions League knockout stages.

Arsenal thrashed RC Lens 6-0 in North London, with Kai Havertz getting on the scoresheet once again while Gabriel Jesus was also back amongst the goals.

It was arguably the Gunners’ most convincing display of the season so far and they will be hoping to carry that form into today’s clash against Wolves.

O’Neil has enjoyed a promising start to life at Molineux as he’s guided the Midlands side to wins over the likes of Tottenham and Manchester City.

But they are yet to find their best form away from home this season and David Seaman believes Arsenal will pick up a comfortable 2-0 win.

Seaman predicts Arsenal vs Wolves result

Speaking on Seaman Says, the former England goalkeeper admitted he’s curious to see who Mikel Arteta selects between the sticks today.

“The main question for me is whoever plays in goal, I can’t wait to see that, but whoever plays in goal I think they will have too much for Wolves. 2-0 Arsenal,” he said.

It seems evident that David Raya is Arsenal’s number one now after he came straight back into the side in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Aaron Ramsdale did start against Brentford last time out in the league. But that was down to the fact that Raya was ineligible to play.

Wolves will prove to be a stern test for Arsenal based on their recent performances. O’Neil’s men haven’t had the best of luck when it comes to refereeing decisions of late and were unfortunate to lose 3-2 to Fulham on Monday.

Yet, we think Seaman isn’t far off with his prediction and that Arsenal will simply have too much for Wolves today.
