‘Brilliant since Gio came in’: Some Rangers fans laud 25-year-old’s display today

A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have praised Ibrox ace Ryan Kent following his display on Saturday.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst steered Rangers to an eighth consecutive Scottish Premiership win.

Rangers laboured against a heavily-depleted Dundee United at Ibrox and didn’t break the deadlock until the 71st minute.

Scott McMann handled in the box to gift Rangers a penalty, which Ibrox captain James Tavernier converted.

Kent was his side’s major – and perhaps the only – creative outlet in the game.

The 25-year-old looked to commit players and created a number of opportunities for his teammates.

Kent saw a penalty appeal turned down in the first half, fired wide on 62 minutes and set a chance up for Alfredo Morelos on 75 minutes.

All in all, a good display from Kent and some Rangers fans sung his praises:

Kent may have struggled on the goal and assist tally this season, but he’s certainly contributing plenty to the Rangers cause.

The Gers currently sit top of the table on 48 points, seven above Celtic, who have a game in hand.
