Seamus Coleman sends classy message to Yannick Bolasie after Everton exit

Yannick Bolasie joined Middlesbrough on loan until the end of the season yesterday and following his departure, he’s shared some classy messages from Seamus Coleman.

The 31-year-old had been training with Everton since returning from his season-long loan at Sporting Lisbon during 2019/20.

He wasn’t included in Carlo Ancelotti’s 25-man squad for the Premier League campaign, however, and has been waiting for a move.

That move has now come and he will hope to kick-start his career in the North-East under Neil Warnock’s management.

Boro are floating around the play-off places and if he settles quickly he could help the club to promotion.

Following his move away from Goodison Park, the tricky winger has taken to Twitter to share a classy message from Coleman.

Bolasie signed for Everton in 2016 from Crystal Palace where he had been in fine form.

The versatile forward claimed 30 assists during his time at Selhurst Park and moved to Everton with high hopes expected of him.

Things didn’t really work out on Merseyside though.

He managed just 32 appearances for the club and spent time on loan with Aston Villa, Anderlecht and last season with Sporting Lisbon.

Having spent so long without playing a game in England the jury might remain out for some Middlesbrough supporters.

If Warnock can get him back to his best, however, they could have a seriously good player on their hands.

The messages from Coleman should offer Boro fan an indication as to how determined Bolasie is.

Despite falling down the pecking order, it sounds as though his attitude and application have never been in question.

That certainly bodes well for Boro and Everton fans might be watching his progress with intrigue.
