Arsenal are keeping ‘channels open’ over signing midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk wants at Chelsea

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are interested in signing Heorhiy Sudakov from Shakhtar Donetsk.

That is according to TuttoJuve, which has noted the other clubs who are keen on the midfielder.

So, what is being reported about Arsenal and Heorhiy Sudakov? Let’s take a look.

What’s the story?

Well, according to TuttoJuve, Arsenal are among the clubs who are interested in signing Heorhiy Sudakov from Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Italian news outlet has claimed that Manchester United, Barcelona, Chelsea and Juventus are also keen on the 21-year-old midfielder.

Barcelona are also looking at a potential deal for Sudakov due to the long-term injury to Spain international midfielder Gavi.

Arsenal are reportedly “keeping the channels open with Shakhtar” after trying to get a deal done for Mykhailo Mudryk.

Mudryk joined Chelsea in January 2023 despite Arsenal doing their best to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.

Interestingly, according to TEAMtalk, the 22-year-old Ukraine international winger has told the Blues to bring Sudakov to Stamford Bridge and beat Arsenal to his signature.

Arsenal could be able to sign Heorhiy Sudakov

In my opinion, Arsenal could be able to sign Heorhiy Sudakov from Shakhtar Donetsk in the January transfer window or in the summer of 2024.

After all, if the North London club paid the transfer fee needed, then they would be able to get a deal done. It is as simple as that.

Sudakov himself could be tempted to move to Arsenal. After all, the North London outfit are one of the biggest clubs in the world and are a global brand. And, Mikel Arteta’s side could win the Premier League title this season.

Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko has already said that he would love to see Sudakov play for the Gunners. Zinchenko and Sudakov are Ukraine international teammates.
