Manchester City and Real Madrid will meet again in the Champions League with a place in the Paris final up for grabs.
The pair have both lost and beaten Paris Saint Germain in this season’s campaign and after overcoming tricky assignments in the quarter-finals, a mouth-watering last four tie has been set up.
The two sides met at the last-16 stage two years ago when the Premier League champions prevailed 4-2 on aggregate after beating Los Blancos 2-1 in each leg.
Manchester United centre-back Raphael Varane endured a horror show at the Etihad Stadium and the World Cup winner was at fault for both of City’s goals.
But City and Madrid have squared off in the semi-finals before when they met six years ago. Zinedine Zidane’s side pitted their wits against Manuel Pellegrini’s Citizens.
Real Madrid advanced to the final after winning the nervy tie 1-0 on aggregate, through a Fernando own-goal, and went on to win three Champions Leagues in a row.

Seven of Madrid’s squad from the clash on May 4, 2016, remain at the club and Daniel Carvajal, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric will all likely start Tuesday’s first leg in Manchester.
Karim Benzema, who is in devastating form this season with 39 goals, and Casemiro who both started the first leg back in 2016, missed the second leg in 2016.
The influential Frenchman will be fit to spearhead Carlo Ancelotti’s attack, but Casemiro could miss Tuesday’s clash due to a muscular problem.

Compared to Madrid, Pep Guardiola’s side only have three players from the side that played in the Spanish capital six years ago.
Kevin de Bruyne and Fernandinho started the game and Raheem Sterling was introduced as a second half substitute.
Both De Bruyne and Sterling will fancy their chances of forming a part of Guardiola’s starting line-up come Tuesday, but the veteran Fernandinho will probably have to settle for a place on the bench.
Real Madrid will be looking to reach the Champions League final for the first time since Cristiano Ronaldo departed in the summer of 2018 while Manchester City will be looking to make it back-to-back finals after last season’s heart-breaking defeat to Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea in Portugal.
