Erik ten Hag is coming under increased scrutiny at Manchester United.
The Red Devils need a miracle to get out of their Champions League group, and while recent results in the Premier League have been good, the scorelines certainly aren’t reflecting the performances on the pitch.
Ten Hag is starting to be questioned as a manager as many say he has a lack of identity in terms of a playing style, while his man-management hasn’t exactly been exemplary.
In just 18 months he’s had two high-profile spats with both Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo, and speaking on Off The Ball, Keith Treacy reckons there’s another player in the squad who is now getting fed up of the Dutchman.
The pundit says that Marcus Rashford isn’t working hard enough at the moment, and he believes the attacker isn’t too happy with his manager at the moment.

Treacy gave his verdict on this situation.
“I think you put him (Garnacho) out there and you send a message to Rashford that you haven’t been good enough and you need to contribute so much more. I won’t touch on how poor he has been going forwards, but I don’t think he’s working anywhere near hard enough. I go back to Sean Dyche and his methods, run around, work hard, give me 12 kilometers and your talents will shine through because you’re a professional footballer,” Treacy said.
“I know Sancho is in the reserves, but he will have relationships with first-team players, and it seems to me that there’s one, two, three, four five now who are starting to think ‘I’m not sure about this manager.’ And with the way Rashford is playing, I’d imagine he doesn’t seem too happy. This is from the outside looking in, but it doesn’t seem like a happy dressing room, it doesn’t look like people are running through brick walls.”

Something isn’t right with Rashford
Whether or not Rashford is getting fed up of Ten Hag or not isn’t something we’re privy to, but it has to be said that something doesn’t seem right with the England international this season.
As Treacy says, his workrate level has dropped off a cliff, while the goals have also dried up.
Last season was arguably the best of Rashford’s career, but within a few months, he’s looking like a completely different player.
Something has to change, and it’s up to Ten Hag to try and get the best out of his star man once again.
