Aston Villa’s luck could be in over reported target Pedro, with Chelsea supposedly targeting a move for Samuel Chukwueze.
According to a report from The Telegraph, the Blues are ready to splash the cash next month after having their transfer ban halved by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Apparently, manager Frank Lampard has a list of targets that includes Villarreal youngster Chukwueze, whose stock has steadily been rising over in La Liga.
The Nigeria international debuted for the first-team in 2018, and has been tipped for a very bright future in Europe.
Should Chelsea land the African speedster – who is thought to have a €60 million/£51 million release clause (Marca) – then it will surely open the door for Villa to land Pedro.

The Blues are much more likely to entertain offers for Pedro if they were able to secure a deal for Chukwueze, so Villa will likely have everything crossed a deal will happen.
And should the door creak open for the Spaniard, then he likely won’t break the bank because his contract runs out next summer.
That will make things easier in terms of potential wages, with the former Barcelona man current taking home £100,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge (Spotrac).
