The Portuguese defender has been loving life at his current club Lille, where has has won the Ligue 1 title, as well as the French Super Cup.

Despite only being 23 years-old, Djalo has already made over 100 appearances for Lille and he clearly looks like a top defender.
Djalo’s contract actually runs out in June 2024, so it feels like Newcastle are perhaps waiting to see if they can sign the defender on a free transfer next summer.
