West Ham now interested in signing ‘unbelievable’ Premier League defender in January

The latest reports are suggesting that West Ham United have now joined to transfer for race for Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly.

West Ham have looked strong this season, and their summer signings have been a huge reason for their good form.

Now, reports from 90min suggest they are looking to strengthen further. Apparently, the Hammers are ‘keeping tabs’ on Lloyd Kelly, but they are not the only club wanting to sign him.

Tottenham, Fulham and clubs from Europe like AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the centre-back. The issue is that Bournemouth do not want to lose Kelly in January so he could be priced out of a move. It was reported in January that Tottenham made a £20m bid for Kelly, but it was rejected.

West Ham join transfer race for Lloyd Kelly

Kelly is highly rated, with the defender being called ‘unbelievable‘ after the performances that he has put in for Bournemouth.

With so many top clubs interested in the 25 year-old, he definitely has top talent, and he would be a great signing for West Ham.

The only issue is that some of the clubs interested play in the Champions League and are battling for league titles, and this could see the Hammers lose the race.

With Kelly impressing and already experienced in the Premier League, it is no shock to see David Moyes interested in the player.

West Ham could be a good move for Kelly despite lots of interest. They could be the perfect next step and somewhere where he is guaranteed to be a key player before possibly moving on in the future.

It will be interesting to see if West Ham make a move for him in January. If they move early then they could beat other competition.
