Leeds United round-up: De Bock’s Israel admission, Bielsa happy with options, Ideguchi purchase option

De Bock talks

Laurens De Bock has been discussing his exit from Leeds United. The Belgian signed a season-long loan deal at KV Oostende yesterday, after falling down the pecking order at Elland Road.

Speaking to HLN in Belgium he revealed that the move to Oostende was what he wanted. He did however admit he nearly headed to Israel.

He stated he nearly boarded a flight to Jerusalem to sign for Beitar Jerusalem, managed by former boss Guy Luzon.

Bielsa happy

As reported by the YEP, Leeds United are not expected to rush into the signature of a new centre-back before the loan window shuts next Friday.

Marcelo Bielsa is happy with his options at the back. This is despite the recent injury problems suffered by both Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper.

Deals to sign Kyle Bartley and Matthew Pennington fell away this summer.

Ideguchi permanent option

Yosuke Ideguchi left Leeds United on loan yesterday. The Japanese international joined German side Greuther Furth on a season-long loan deal.

It comes as it became clear he had no part to play for Leeds in their Championship campaign.

Today, it is also being reported that the deal contains an option to buy.

The club themselves have confirmed a buying option in his deal on their official website.
