‘Get a new club’… Rodney Marsh tells £300,000-a-week player to leave Manchester United

Rodney Marsh has given his verdict on Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford while watching him in action against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.

The former Manchester City forward has said that Rashford needs to leave United and find a new club.

So, what has Rodney Marsh said about Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford? Let’s take a look.

Marcus Rashford started the match for the Red Devils. The £300,000-a-week (Spotrac) England international was deployed on the right of an attacking midfield-three in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag decided to take off Rashford in the 61st minute.

It was yet another disappointing performance from Rashford, and, as you can, Rodney Marsh was not impressed.

The former Manchester City forward believes that the England international needs to find a new challenge and leave Old Trafford.

Marcus Rashford is really struggling

In my view, Marcus Rashford has not been at his best for a while now. Yes, there was a period last season when the Manchester United forward was brilliant, but I do not think that he has really lived up to the expectations that he built in us a few years ago.

Rashford has become predictable now. We know that the 26-year-old is not a natural number 9, but even when played out wide, he is not performing.

The Englishman is 26 now. Rashford is about to hit his peak years. It seems that he has not really progressed. I believe that the forward needs to step up his game.

Rashford has made 252 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The forward has scored 78 goals and given 38 assists in those games.
