Crystal Palace have reportedly tabled an offer worth £7million for Celtic captain Callum McGregor – as Patrick Vieira continues his summer overhaul. Celtic are expected to want a much higher figure than the one offered. But Palace fans think Celtic ace McGregor would be a top signing.
A report from Homme du Match says Palace are looking to add to the five summer signings they have made so far. Palace have gained plaudits for bringing in Joachim Andersen, Marc Guehi, Michael Olise, Conor Gallagher and Remi Matthews. Celtic skipper McGregor could be added to that list.
The report states a £7million offer has been tabled, with McGregor boasting a huge 333 appearances for the Hoops. The left-footed midfielder remains crucial at Celtic, starring under new gaffer Ange Postecoglou. So much so, that Celtic fans believe McGregor is worth a whole lot more than £7million.
