Crystal Palace are reportedly looking to raid Celtic this summer, but not just for Odsonne Edouard. Reports claim that Palace have tabled a £7million offer to sign Celtic skipper Callum McGregor. Unsurprisingly, this has been met with utter derision by Celtic fans – who think McGregor is worth more.
One of new Celtic gaffer Ange Postecoglou’s first decisions as manager was to pick the club’s new captain – and there was only really one option. He made the correct, yet obvious choice to hand McGregor the armband in place of Scott Brown. The 28-year-old has played 333 times for Celtic.
