‘I’m still not convinced’… Sky Sports pundit says there’s still one Arsenal player he’s not sure about

Kai Havertz is slowly but surely improving at Arsenal.

He’s been amongst the goals as of late, and he does appear to be growing in confidence.

However, after such a slow start to the season, the German has plenty of work to do if he’s to turn all of his doubters into believers.

Speaking on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday (2/12/23 12:15PM), Clinton Morrison has been discussing Havertz’s recent form, and he’s been very open about the fact he’s still not convinced by the former Chelsea man claiming that he doesn’t think he’s at all suited to that number 10 creative role he has been playing as of late.

Morrison not convinced by Havertz

The pundit gave his verdict on the Arsenal man.

“I’m still not convinced, but I think his best position is as a false number nine, I don’t think he can play that Odegaard role, I don’t think he’s there. He’s a good footballer but I don’t think he can play like Odegaard and pick those passes,” Morrison said.

Getting there

Morrison says that he’s not convinced by Havertz, and we can understand why.

The German has been utterly terrible in the majority of games he has played for Arsenal, but, even the biggest critic has to admit there have been signs of life as of late.

Havertz has looked better recently, he’s playing with more and more confidence, and if he continues to improve in this manner, it won’t be long before he starts winning people round.

However, with that being said, Havertz has been in England long enough for us to see what he’s all about, and if you’re not convinced by the player at this point, you probably never will be.

Havertz truly is a marmite player, you either love him, or you don’t.
