Liverpool are looking for long-term replacements for Mo Salah and Jurgen Klopp is already eyeing up prospective replacements.
Salah is still expected to leave Liverpool despite a brilliant start to this season, with interest from the Saudi Pro League not going away any time soon. The Egyptian apparently came close to going in the summer but in the end, Liverpool held firm.
However, there is growing talk that Salah will eventually move next summer and with that, Liverpool need to find replacements.
And according to Calciomercato, Juventus forward Federico Chiesa remains a player of interest to the Reds.
Liverpool still want to sign Federico Chiesa to replace Salah
According to Calciomercato, Chiesa is one of the top targets Liverpool are looking at when it comes to replacing Salah.
The ‘superstar‘ Italian forward has long been considered one of the best players in Serie A and previous reports – again involving Liverpool – have suggested a deal worth around £52m might do the trick.
Chiesa was a big part of the Italy side that won Euro 2020 and given the position he plays and how quick he is, it makes sense that he could replace Salah.

Chiesa would excite the Anfield crowd
When Salah does leave Liverpool, it will be a disappointing day for the club in general. His impact has been so great and his ability is so good, that he’s hard to replace.
However, players are out there and Federico Chiesa is someone who could give it a good go at the very least.
We’ve seen with Luis Diaz how Liverpool fans take to exciting wide players and it would be no different if Chiesa signed as well.
Liverpool know full well they’re going to need someone in for Salah. And if it is Chiesa, then there’ll be few arguments from fans.
