£40m Tottenham player posts a three-word hint on Twitter amid claims he missed training

There have been rumours going around that Pedro Porro has missed training this week, but that doesn’t seem to be the case at all.

Spurs have had a terrible few days, haven’t they? Following the defeat to Chelsea on Monday, they lost Micky van de Ven and James Maddison to injury, while Destiny Udogie and Cristian Romero are both suspended. Porro, however, should be available for the game against Wolves today.

Pedro Porro hints he is ready to play for Tottenham vs Wolves

Tottenham fans have been dreading the game against Wolves today because Ange Postecoglou will be without Maddison, Udogie, Romero and Van de Ven.

The last thing Spurs supporters needed was news about another player missing, and rumours emerged that Pedro Porro could also be a doubt for the game.

Martin Lipton claimed on Off The Ball yesterday that Porro had missed training following the Chelsea game, which raised concerns over whether he is injured.

However, Ange Postecoglou confirmed yesterday that Porro is fine and has trained all week.

Now, in what could be a hint about his availability for the game against Wolves today, Porro himself has taken to social media to suggest he will be in the squad.

“See you tomorrow”, he wrote on Twitter along with a picture of himself with the date, time and venue of the game between Wolves and Tottenham.

Porro has been great for Tottenham

Tottenham signed Pedro Porro from Sporting Lisbon in a £40 million deal this year (The Athletic).

The Spaniard didn’t have the greatest of starts to life in North London. He struggled under Antonio Conte in the second half of last season, and he received a ton of criticism as a result.

This season, however, Porro has been excellent for Tottenham. Some of his performances have gone under the radar because of his teammates excelling, but he deserves immense praise for how he has fared so far.

Now, thankfully for Tottenham fans, it looks like he is available for selection for the game against Wolves at noon today.
