Arsenal came away from Seville tonight with a brilliant 2-1 win to strengthen their chances of making it past the Champions League group stages.
Goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus ensured the Gunners won all three points. In the end, it was a tough assignment for Mikel Arteta’s side and one they’ll have been glad to see through.
Of course, there were some excellent performances on show throughout the night from a number of players.
And watching on for TNT Sports, Martin Keown felt Declan Rice deserved a special mention.

Speaking on TNT Sports after the game alongside Michael Owen, Keown was full of praise for Arsenal in the main.
And after glossing over things a bit, Keown got to Rice and was full of praise for the England midfielder.
“Declan Rice, we’ve not even mentioned him. I thought he was magnificent. You almost need two of him, the way he gets about the pitch, I think he is incredible,” Keown said.

Talk about growing into your role at a new club and producing the goods on the big stage.
Declan Rice is taking to Champions League football like a duck to water and against Sevilla he was simply brilliant in all he did.
Time and time again he broke up play and got in the way of the Spanish side and then going forward, he was equally as good.
There were question marks over Arsenal paying such huge money for Rice in the summer.
But right now, as it stands, he’s looking like he’s worth every single penny.
