Arsenal star sends £61m Real Madrid player flying in international training yesterday

Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes sent Real Madrid youngster Endrick flying after a strong challenge during a training session in Brazil yesterday.

The 25-year-old Gunners defender – along with the two other Gabriels in Arsenal‘s squad – Jesus and Martinelli – have been called up to Brazil’s side for the games against Colombia and Argentina in the coming days. Real Madrid youngster Endrick is also in the squad for the first time ever.

Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhaes sends Real Madrid star Endrick flying

Endrick, still only 17, was a hot property in the summer, with a number of top clubs keen to sign him – however, it was Real Madrid who won the race for his signature.

The Brazilian will move to the Santiago Bernabeu after he turns 18 next summer. A deal between Real Madrid and Palmeiras has already been agreed for a whopping £61 million (FIFA).

Everyone has been talking about Endrick in Brazil this week after Diniz called him up to the senior side for the first time in his career.

Injuries to the likes of Neymar, Richarlison and Gabriel Jesus opened the door for the teenager, and we’re sure he’d want to make his debut in the game against Colombia this week.

Arsenal star Gabriel, who is referred to as Big Gabi at London Colney, came up against Endrick in Brazil training yesterday, and there was only one winner.

SportsCenter released a video where the two Brazilians went shoulder-to-shoulder for the ball. Gabriel barely moved after making contact, while young Endrick went flying into the ground.

Arsenal star Gabriel has improved massively

Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes‘ progression over the last three years has been nothing short of extraordinary.

The Brazilian was always a talented centre-back, but under Mikel Arteta over the last few seasons, he has become one of the best defenders in the Premier League.

William Saliba’s brilliance next to Gabriel at Arsenal casts a shadow on the Brazil international, who doesn’t always get the credit he deserves. But, every Gunners fan knows just how integral he is to the side.

Now, Gabriel is slowly becoming a regular for Brazil as well, and the fact that he’s still only 25 means he will only get better in the coming years.
