Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte believes it’s “very difficult” to improve Harry Kane given the wealth of talented he already possesses.
The England international looks rejuvenated under the Italian and is back to his influential best for the north London side.
With the race for the all important fourth spot intensifying, Champions League qualification could be crucial in ensuring Daniel Levy can retain the services of both Kane and Conte in the summer.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s lunch-time kick-off at Aston Villa, the former Inter Milan manager once again waxed lyrical about his number 10.
Speaking via Football London, the 52-year-old said: “I think he (Kane) deserves an important position in the world of football. I think Harry also he has the right age to show that he can be one of the best, best in the world and in history.
“He’s already in history because he’s scored a lot of goals for the club and the national team. He’s of the right age to consolidate this and be one of the best.
“He’s not typical in that he’s a number nine and number 10. We try to exploit this characteristic.
