‘I’m a huge fan’… John Hartson says he absolutely loves £3.5m Celtic player

John Hartson is the latest pundit to come out and shower Celtic winger, Luis Palma, with praise after his exploits for Celtic this season.

The Honduran has been in incredible form not only in the Scottish Premiership but also in the Champions League for Celtic.

The £3.5m signing from Aris has been the subject of much praise and now it’s the turn of Hartson who says he is a huge fan of the 23-year-old.

Hartson said [The Go Radio Football Show], “I am [a huge fan]. I think a lot of people wanted to see him get a run, he’s finally getting the run of games and you know, he’s he’s living up to that.

“He can take players on, he’s got wonderful delivery, he cuts inside like he showed against Ross County like he showed a few weeks ago and smashed one in from 30 yards.

“Great technique and I’m delighted that he’s getting a run now. Because naturally, when you feel that you’re a part of the team and you’re in the team every week you get better and better because we all play on confidence.

“And whilst he’s scoring goals and making goals then he’ll only get better as a Celtic player. Because there’s always pressure when you come to the club.

“But what you want to do, you want to make a big impact, and to do that you need a good run of games.”

Palma’s performances for Celtic are certainly hitting the headlines as he goes on his travels for his country this week.

The Honduran is expected to not only feature for his country against Mexico but he is also expected to score against a team that is ranked 15th in the world.

That’s the kind of expectation that is being placed on his young shoulders and he seems to take it all in his stride.

Palma has certainly become a firm favourite with the Celtic fans and if his form continues, he is likely to be the next player to get a big move from the club in the coming years.

In other news, Celtic told that there is a £3m striker in Scotland that they can get to replace Kyogo Furuhashi in January
