Luis Palma’s former teammate at Aris sends him three word message on Instagram after what he’s done at Celtic

He’s certainly the man of the moment at Celtic right now. Luis Palma has been a superb signing for Brendan Rodgers as the recruitment department works its magic once more.

With eight summer signings added to the first-team squad, Palma has been the standout performer and it was his display against Aberdeen that has earned him the adulation of his former Aris teammate, Valentino Fattore.

Palma posted a highlights clip of his performance on Instagram and it earned this response from Fattore:

Palma has also been attracting the attention of his international teammate, Andy Najar recently. The 42-cap winger said that Palma is likely to get a big move from Celtic soon if he keeps ‘tearing it up‘ in the Scottish Premiership.

Najar is tipping Palma to score goals on this international break after watching him in Europe this season for Celtic.

The Honduran winger said, “Palma is tearing it up. I hope he continues like this, he’s going to get to a better team, to a better league and that he continues to score more goals in the Champions League.

“We want him to come here and score goals here too, we are waiting for those goals from Luis.”

High praise indeed for a player who was being offered to clubs around Europe for just over £200k less than two seasons ago.

For Palma, he just needs to concentrate on delivering for Celtic. His future will look after itself as long as he continues to score and create goals domestically and in Europe. His five goals and five assists so far have been a terrific return on the £3.5m investment Celtic have made. [Transfermarkt]

On the international scene, the 23-year-old is certainly a favourite with the Honduran media and they will also be hoping that he turns his Celtic form on for his country as they get set to face Mexico this weekend.

In other news, Celtic now set to offer 25-year-old player a big new contract to stay at Parkhead
