Rio Ferdinand has said that Bukayo Saka is top level after his latest assist for Arsenal, but there is no winger in the Premier League he would rather watch right now than Jeremy Doku.
Ferdinand was speaking on his YouTube channel as he was asked to pick between the two players, with the Manchester City star making a brilliant start to life in the Premier League.
Few wingers have been more impressive in the last few years than Bukayo Saka. And Saka has made a major impact for the Gunners this season, scoring six goals and contributing eight assists in all competitions.

His latest assist came at the weekend as Saka produced an amazing cross for Kai Havertz’s winner against Brentford.
Manchester City meanwhile, have found yet another devastating winger in Jeremy Doku. The Belgian has scored two goals and provided five assists in 10 league games since his £55.5 million move.
Doku was exceptional against Trent Alexander-Arnold on Saturday. And when asked to pick between the two wingers, Rio Ferdinand suggested that the 21-year-old gets the nod right now.
“Form-wise, you have to go with Doku,” he told his YouTube channel. “He is opening teams up. That’s the quietest I’ve seen Saka this season against Brentford, but the two moments, one was a goal, one was a disallowed goal by VAR, came from Saka. He’s now not having to beat people. Give him a bit too much space, he’s putting the ball on a sixpence for people. Saka’s top level.

The thing Saka already has over Doku is his longevity in the Premier League. He is approaching 200 games for the Gunners in all competitions. And he is not too far off a century of goal contributions in that time.
But Doku has definitely made an outstanding start in England. It says a lot that he has forced his way into Pep Guardiola’s side and is playing a key role in a game against Liverpool.
It will be fascinating to see how Doku fares over a much longer period of time. Certainly, Saka is the benchmark for any young winger in the division.
