Liverpool return to Premier League action following the international break with a trip to reigning champions Manchester City on Saturday.
Liverpool against Man City has become one of the biggest fixtures in English football in recent years, with no other team having won the title since 2017.
Both the Reds and the Citizens have also won a host of other trophies in that time, including two Champions Leagues between them.
Liverpool have a mostly clean bill of health ahead of the game. The Reds confirmed on Thursday that all of Ibrahima Konate, Ryan Gravenberch, Curtis Jones and Joe Gomez trained.
South American quartet Alisson Becker, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Alexis Mac Allister have also trained as normal following their international duty across the Atlantic.
One choice Jurgen Klopp could have to make for Saturday’s game is whether to start Curtis Jones or Ryan Gravenberch in midfield.
It’s close, but we reckon the Liverpool boss will opt for Jones in the starting XI against Man City.

This is because he keeps possession better when he’s playing, and his defensive awareness and ability would balance out the Reds midfield.
Gravenberch is obviously a quality player too, he’s more creative going forward and his ball progression is superb, which would be a major asset on the counter.
However, considering who Liverpool are up against, Jones would be the better option from the off. Gravenberch is a better option off the bench where he could change the game.
Jones is a ‘massive talent‘ and his talent and skills can certainly help Liverpool overcome Man City in Saturday’s early kickoff.
The Reds will need to be at their best against the 2022-23 Treble winners, boasting one of the best strikers in the world.
But they’ve certainly got what it takes to spring a surprise at the Etihad Stadium.
