‘Not that happy’… Bruno Fernandes makes comment about Everton fans after Man United win today

Bruno Fernandes has now been discussing Alejandro Garnacho’s wonder goal for Manchester United against Everton today.

Fernandes was speaking after United’s surprising 3-0 win at Goodison Park and noticed that the Everton fans weren’t too happy throughout.

However, Fernandes did think one moment may have cheered up the home faithful.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Fernandes thought Garnacho’s exquisite goal may have even been enjoyed in the home terraces.

He said: “Everton fans were not that happy, but I think even they enjoy these kind of things.”

Of course, Garnacho’s goal was one for the ages, and even he has now admitted his surprise.

Garnacho said: “I can’t believe it to be honest. I didn’t see how I scored, I just listened to the crowd and said, ‘Oh my god!’

“It’s one of the best goals I’ve ever scored. It’s still November, but probably [one of goals of the season].”

And despite Bruno’s optimism, it’s unlikely that Everton fans were too impressed at going one goal behind against United in any fashion.

It was certainly a frustrating evening for Everton, losing a match so emphatically on the scoreline despite their domination at times.

However, it really was a tale of finishing, and United’s front line finally showed a lethal streak.

All of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Garnacho have been guilty of wasting far too many chances in the past.

But all changed their tune at Goodison Park to collect three brilliant points.

Michael Owen has also now given his verdict on Garnacho’s goal, which will be spoken about for some time.

It’s almost uncanny how similar the goal was to Wayne Rooney’s, one that didn’t look like it would ever be one-upped.

However, Bruno Fernandes wouldn’t be making his comment about Everton fans watching an all-time United classic unless he believed it was up there.

Either way, it was a torrid night for Everton, who saw three points stolen away from a clinical United side.
