The Tottenham Hotspur squad were blown away by the effort Dejan Kulusevski put in when the team were down to 10 men during their win over Luton Town in October.
That is according to a report from The Athletic, which notes that the Sweden international has been described as the players’ player due to his work-rate.
The performances and contributions of Dejan Kulusevski have been somewhat overshadowed this season. Of course, James Maddison has arguably been the best player in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Son Heung-min looks to be back to something like his best form. And there are others within the Spurs squad who have proved to be revelations under Ange Postecoglou.
Kulusevski endured a tricky first full season at Spurs after an amazing start. He only scored twice in all competitions. Admittedly, he did still contribute seven assists in the top-flight.
Remarkably, he has already scored more goals this season. But he has not exactly grabbed many of the headlines along the way.
Nevertheless, it appears that his contributions are not going unnoticed within the Tottenham dressing room.

Fortunately, Tottenham still have Son available. But it may be just as important that Kulusevski stays fit.
There is no question that replacing either player would be a massive task for Ange Postecoglou, particularly with the Spurs squad.
