Tottenham are now ready to sell their ‘terrific’ player for £20m, he has ‘unbelievable pace’

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to sell Joe Rodon, who is currently having a fantastic time on loan at Leeds United in the Championship.

Spurs have a lot of decisions to make ahead of 2024. The January transfer window will be their priority, but we’ll be surprised if they haven’t already started planning for next summer. Rodon’s long-term Tottenham future is expected to be decided in one of the next two windows.

Tottenham are ready to sell Joe Rodon for £20m

Tottenham Hotspur signed Joe Rodon from Championship side Swansea City in October 2020, when Jose Mourinho was still at the club.

The Welshman came in with a lot of hype, but for one reason or another, things just haven’t worked out for him at Spurs. He has played just 24 times for the North Londoners during his time there.

Rodon was sent out on a season-long loan to Leeds United in the summer, and his fortunes have changed. He has been really good recently and there’s every chance he could help the Whites achieve promotion back to the Premier League.

The question then would be what will happen to Rodon. The 26-year-old’s loan spell expires in the summer, and if Leeds do come back up, they would likely want to sign him on a permanent deal.

TeamTalk have shared the latest on the situation now, and they have revealed that Tottenham are not at all against the idea of selling Rodon in 2024.

However, Spurs want a fee in the region of £20 million to let him go.

Rodon is a ‘terrific’ player

Joe Rodon has always been a player with huge potential and it’s a shame things have not worked out for him at Tottenham Hotspur.

However, the good thing for him is that he is finding his feet at Leeds United now, and his international teammate and Spurs star Ben Davies heaped praise on him this week.

The Tottenham full-back branded Rodon as a ‘terrific‘ player and claimed that he has found himself a home at Elland Road after a difficult few years (Wales Online).

Leeds boss Daniel Farke has also been in awe of Rodon since he signed him, branding his performances as ‘brilliant‘ and labelling him as someone who has ‘unbelievable pace‘.
